Letter from the Archives of Vatican shows prisoners Jews thanking Pius XII

In time of war the Pope Pius XII - accused by historians to be too consistent with Hitler - has been praised by former Jewish prisoners to prevent their deportation to the death camps, according to documents published by the secret archives of the Vatican, the Telegraph UK reports.
